Mavis is our keeper from Skyward’s C-litter, co-owned with Katie Castiglia. Mavis was bred with the intention of bringing in more drive, handler focus, and herding ability into our program. Mavis was an outcross with Topnotch Frontrunner, a dog that needs no introduction. I am grateful to Angela Effinger for allowing us to use such an amazing dog to move our program forward. She has proved to be an amazing all-around dog, racking up titles in disk, flyball, dock diving, conformation, and canicross. She is great with adults and kids, having grown up with both. Mavis has competed on national stages (UPDIF) and through adversity, proving her sound temperament, drive, and determination. Like her parents, she is high dive, high energy, with a wonderful offswith. She is very handler-focused with low arousal and just a dream to be around.

Mavis is currently focused on disk and flyball, but will be starting her career as a special soon!
