Border Collies

I fell in love with border collies through participation in various dog sports. Because of this, I will always value a “do it all” type dog. Versatility, efficiency, and soundness are paramount to our program.

To put it simply, a sound dog is one that can preform confidently in multiple environments, through all stages of their life. I strive to breed a dog that can work through stressors, is easy to train, and will be friendly to everyone they meet. I am especially critical of how our dogs interact with other dogs and around high value food or treats. We have zero tolerance for unprovoked SSA or possessive behavior. I breed for correct conformation, so our puppies can work effortlessly and will have the longevity to continue the things they love well into their golden years.

As a herding breed I hope to preserve their original function. However, I will always believe that structure and function go hand in hand. Like most AKC breeders I support a written breed standard. Our long term goal is to restore and build herding ability in showline border collies, while maintaining type and structural soundness.
